Summary: The house was not properly cleaned when we arrived: coffee pot had coffee grounds in it and had not been cleaned, one toilet had been used and not flushed or cleaned, bathtubs had hair in them, we swept the floor because most of the hardwood floors were dirty, countertops had crumbs on them, an open trash bag and the cleaning supplies tray was in the garage next to the door into the house and had not been put in the garbage can or put away, there was no dishwasher detergent to run the dishwasher, and the main bedroom has a significant carpet stain (water?). The Owner/agent did offer to send the cleaners back to the house but we had just driven 9 hours and did not want to have to leave the house while they cleaned it properly, so we cleaned what we could ourselves. We have stayed in a lot of VRBO's and it is rare to have a house not properly cleaned.
