Summary: The location was good, in close proximity to Provincetown and beaches. The house itself was adequate, but the listing was misleading. The name is "Bayview House", but the bay is only visible from the upper decks. This is where the trouble starts.One deck was accesible only from a bedroom. It was inadequstely supported, and felt unsafe when walked on. The two plastic lawn chairs appeared dirty and did not lead one to want to sit on them. The second upper deck could only be reached by a narrow spiral staircase with an unsafe appearing railing, covered in foam. The main deck holds more dirty-appearing plastic chairs (my guess is mildewed and then powered washed) and one end of it holds an abandoned charcoal grill, a random pile of firewood, and the vines that are so ubiquitous that Jumanji comes to mind.The house in general is not for anyone with impaired mobility. The main entrance is reached via a steep staircase with awkward handrails where the paint is peeling. With the exception of one downstairs bedroom with twin beds, all orher bedrooms are reached by stairs--in the case of tbe bedroom with the deck, extremely steep, awkward stairs.While the intetior of the house is roomy and adequate for a large party, there is essentially no usable outdoor space. A pergola holds abandoned lawn furniture and has a good-sized tree growing through it. Any other spaces are overgrown and littered with abandoned, rusty artifacts. To use the fire pit would be to invite a forest fire.
