Summary: In 2023 and 2024, we stayed in cabins at Lakeshore Heights because we loved the location. However, we had to drive back and forth about 15 minutes to reach Grand and Patricial Beaches. Once we arrived, it was a bit of a hassle to carry our chairs and other items through the dunes to get to the beach.For 2025, we wanted to rent a cabin right on the water, and we found one that was perfect. The bottom is sandy, just like the beaches. An adult can wade out about the length of a football field, and the water only comes up to their shoulders.To reach the beach, you need to go down some stairs, but this is a small challenge for the reward of having your own private beach. The trees behind the cabin create a lovely canopy that provides shade. This makes it nice to sit and read while looking out at the water and listening to the gentle sound of the waves on the beach from the gentle breeze.The cabin itself has everything you need. TV, WIFI and lots of DVD movies and CD's are available. The beds are comfortable, and the waterfront feature offers great value for the price. We enjoyed our time here.
