The house and separate studio guest house offer eclectic decor and abundant amenities with plenty of room to relax inside and out. This unique, multi-level home features a King bed in the loft and queen bedroom downstairs, two full baths, a spacious living room with river rock gas kiva fireplace, separate dining room, kitchen, and sunny family room (sun room) with wood-burning cast iron stove. The upstairs study in the loft is a perfect place to nestle with a book, or you may decide to sit on the upper or lower decks to view the mountains or valley. A daybed with trundle adds sleeping for 2 children in semi open loft separated by the open stair way.

Summary: I think this is the first place we stayed in where the location looked better than the expectations from photos (which were already high). Not only did it have great views but each each space in the house was just what we needed for a friend group of 10. The kitchen space was perfect for making dinner each night, there was plenty of space to hang out in the living room, outdoor seating to enjoy and plenty of beds. It also had great WFH spaces for our friends to use. The 1 room guest house was good for 2 couples to share with a private shower that the main house group also used, since there was only one shower in the main house.We were a close drive to town and also the ski resort which was a huge plus for a 5-day ski trip but having such a nice house made it easy to have great nights in after long days out. The mudroom was also very helpful for storing ski gear and a ton of shoes.The downside was we did not get the hot tub we were promised, as it was out of commission, but the property manager was quick to respond and compensate. Also the dryer was not functioning properly, but luckily it was warm enough to hang clothes out to dry.Above all, we made some amazing memories in Taos and were thankful for a great stay.
