Summary: If you arrive at the Sorrento train station make your way to Porta Pasano Nuova. Here, you can find a free shuttle bus to Il Nido (hotel name is on the side of the bus). Il Nido is in the hills high above Sorrento which lends to beautiful views. The owner Dino and his staff are wonderful. The morning breakfast was robust which included eggs, bacon, potatoes, fresh fruits, lots of fabulous pastries and much more. We stayed in room 126. This room has great views of Sorrento and Mt. Vesuvius. There are a few details that could make this room even better. Finer quality pillows and a mattress topper could improve the bed comfort. In the shower, a shelf for toiletries would be more convenient than putting them close to the shower floor. A couple of hooks on back of the door would have been nice to hang wet towels on. We really enjoyed our stay here and definitely recommend this hotel.

Summary: I recently had the pleasure of staying at the IL Nido hotel in Sorrento, and I must say it was an incredible experience. From the moment I arrived, the staff went above and beyond to make sure I was comfortable and had everything I needed. Their friendly and helpful attitudes made me feel right at home. One of the highlights of this hotel is the stunning view. The panoramic views of the Bay of Naples from the hotel's terrace are absolutely breathtaking. I could have spent hours just sitting there and taking in the view. The rooms were also immaculate, and it was clear that the hotel takes pride in cleanliness. The attention to detail was impressive, and I appreciated the little touches that made the room feel extra special. But the real standout for me was the hotel's restaurant. The Italian food was nothing short of exceptional. It was hands down the best meal I had on my two-week trip to Italy. The quality of the ingredients, the preparation, and the presentation were all top-notch. I would highly recommend anyone visiting Sorrento to make sure they dine at this restaurant. Overall, I would give IL Nido hotel a five-star rating without hesitation. The helpful staff, beautiful view, clean rooms, and outstanding restaurant all made for an unforgettable experience. I can't wait to come back and visit again!

Summary: Great view of Sorrento & bay from balcony. Staff and restaurant were great. Did not like $40 cab cost to town. Shuttle bus was free and great but not available 12:30 PM to 3:30 PM.

Summary: We drove here from RoMe. Google maps got the location wrong 4 times - luckily I saw a person that helped me. The roads here are very narrow and many blind curves with cars parked on side of road. Hotel is up past Il Borgo pizza place and is on the left side. This hotel has awesome views of the Bay of Naples. Good food. ( Had dinner here 3X) Nice people and hard working. But the rooms are mediocre. The beds are hard. No pictures on walls and the soap and lotions are in packets like at a hostel. If it wasn’t for the view and the food and we were not in room all day we would have moved. They do have a shuttle to town every hour which is necessary and appreciated because of the curvy roads. They have an elevator too but our floor on the 1st floor was under the main dining room and is noisy early in AM and when they had a wedding there. Floors I’m dining room are Beautiful and the included breakfast is very good - buffet style with eggs/ pastries - yummy coffee. Nice balcony with the view to sit and eat too. This place could be a gem but it needs upgrades or at the least better beds. It’s a 3.5 because of the breakfast, free parking lot, Shuttle and elevator amenities but the beds and the bathroom amenities and lack of decor make it a 3. Would pay more for better decor.

Summary: Great place to stay in Sorrento. Staff are really pleasant, room was lovely although we didn’t have a view - unavoidable for hotels built into a hill but it was great value. Fantastic to have breakfast included. Regular shuttle bus into central Sorrento included in the price and the drivers are really welcoming. Would definitely stay here again if we visited Sorrento again.

Summary: The views from the property was absolutely amazing. Staff friendly and polite. Breakfast included was good. Transport / shuttle to and from Sorrento was very good. The room was simplistic but very importantly had good air conditioning. Would recommend and stop again.

Summary: The hospitality from the owners was second to none. The breakfast that was served every morning was exceptional and the view we had from the breakfast/ dinner table over the coastline was breathtaking.
