Summary: We had a great 2 week stay in Dec 2025. Staff was very corrupted courteous and helpful. The room was smaller than expected, but it worked for us. The balcony is huge, which seems like excess unusable space though, especially in December. The room felt cold at times despite clicking the temperature up to 22 Celsius. But it was probably because of the floor to ceiling windows and how cold it got at night while we were there. Must be lovely in warmer weather. The gym was only accessible for free at times I didn’t want to go, so I paid for a monthly membership at the gym next door for access anytime. It was a great investment; the gym staff were were great, they had all the equipment I needed for power lifting, and I got to use the co-ed sauna. When I had an issue with the toilet and shower head, they fixed it immediately. The area is also perfectly located across from Testaccio Market and is just south enough of Trastevere to be away from the crowds, but still very accessible by tram, bus, or train to central Roman locations. We used public transport every day, and built in 30 min to get into central Rome. We’d definitely stay here again, especially for access to the well equipped gym.
