Summary: Checked in later in the day and the front desk gentleman was less than friendly. He came across as rude, which might it have been his intention. There’s a $40 cash deposit on the key which is not posted anywhere. The floor in the room was dirty and sandy, the sheets are all stained with what looks like blood, there was hair in the sheets from previous tenants. We slept on top of the sheets. No bed bugs at least! The shower curtain was moldy and the bath towels feel like sandpaper. Close 1/4 mile walk to beach. Pool was clean. The light switch doesn’t work so the fan and lamps need to be plugged into a stop that’s by the bed to turn them on. I’m not sure if that’s just the room offered for hotels.com and the others are nicer. Very limited parking. I paid practically nothing for the weekend but if you like clean and not a rundown trap motel, look elsewhere.
