There are 37 steps with landings to the cottage, from the lower road; 38 steps with landings across the road down to the lakeside. Summary: We enjoyed our stay very much. Great location near the wine trail. House was very clean and user friendly with a great deck. Only down side was there seemed to be a lot of paperwork from leasing agent that I have not encountered with other properties. Miss communication over key placement was very frustrating after a 11 hour drive! Overall a good experience.
