This three bedroom cottage was recently renovated, and is bright and sunny with high ceilings and skylights in the living room. There are two large bathrooms, and decking with grill. With three bedrooms, the master bedroom features a queen bed, and the two guest bedrooms each have a full bed. The fully stocked kitchen offers all new stainless steel appliances including oven/gas stove, microwave, coffee maker, toaster, blender, dishwasher, etc. Bedrooms: Master: Queen bed (attached bath) Guest 1: Full bed (shared bath down the hall) Guest 2: Full bed (shared bath opposite the bedroom) All linens are provided, including beach towels. There are beach chairs as well. Access to wireless internet, phone, and cable with a TV & DVD/Blu-Ray player. There is a laundry area on the main level. The house is located in Springs, a hamlet five miles north of the chic village of East Hampton, N.Y. that was home to Jackson Pollock and other Abstract Expressionist artists during their post-war heyday. It is a part of Clearwater Beach, a quiet neighborhood with its own private bay beach and marina. Historic Springs, which is a quiet residential neighborhood away from the traffic and crowds you'll otherwise find in the summer, is just minutes away. From the house, you can walk and see the incredible sunsets at Gardiners Bay, just a few minutes by foot. There is also a liquor store, a small grocery store, deli and pizzeria around the corner. There are nearby farm stands, parks, hiking trails, tennis courts, and all the other cultural and social attractions of the East End of Long Island. Centrally located, you're just a short drive to East Hampton Village or Amagansett for shopping/dining, the Jitney or Long Island Rail Road, and to the ocean, all in under ten minutes. Montauk is about 20 minutes away. Having a car is suggested, but there is a nearby bus route (Suffolk County Transit route 10B) that covers most of the area, and taxis are readily available as well.
