Your view of Tennessee River traffic is unimpeded for a 12 mile stretch of the river channel. You will enjoy watching sail boats, lots of barges, cabin cruisers, fishing tournaments, cargo ships, and river cruise boats. The wind currents caused by the bluff next to the lake result in the perfect location to watch the eagles soar looking for their next meal. You will be able to enjoy lake activities just 200 yards down the road to the beach. There are (4) kayaks and a pedal boat available to use when the weather is calm. The beach provides a great place to swim, float and fish. Nature, small towns, antiques and Civil War history are the main attractions at the Barge Inn.
