The beach and port overlook the Gulf of Salò, with the majestic slopes of Monte Spino and Monte Pizzoccolo above Salò, offering breathtaking mountain and lake views.
About 200 meters away is the small, medieval and utterly charming village of Portese. There are two excellent restaurants and pizzerias, several good bars, a shop, a pharmacy, and a butcher for meat and cheese. Right in the center of the village is the "Le Chiusure" winery, which offers tours, tours, and tastings and produces some of the finest Garda Classico, Groppello, and Rosé wines in the region. About 1.5 km away is the larger village of San Felice, with several excellent restaurants, bars, and pizzerias, as well as a post office and town hall. The center of Salò is 3 km away.
