Travel Purpose: leisure

Positive: I arrived late—around 10 p.m.—and I think I caught the hosts by surprise. They were very kind and welcoming, but I had the feeling they weren’t expecting anyone to arrive at that hour. Still, they received me warmly, and I appreciated their hospitality.

Negative: I initially thought the place was close to the beach, but when I woke up the next morning, I realized it was actually quite far away. The bungalow felt outdated, especially the bathroom, and both the bed and pillow were uncomfortably hard. To add to that, the night before I was charged €5 for a beer—€2 more than what I paid at a 4-star hotel I stayed at previously. Overall, the experience didn’t meet my expectations. I was expecting a more professional resort experience, as the name suggests, but it felt more like a small, family-run business.

Summary: Not happy!
