Summary: The property itself is stunning - the rooms are luxurious and they have really captured the beauty of the natural surroundings. The beds are incredibly comfortable, the pool is relaxing, and the food is generally tasty. Our biggest gripe was the service - for the price they ask, the service is subpar and does not meet the standards of other Auberge properties. We were frequently forgotten, whether at the restaurant, coordinating car pickups (always too early or too late), and/or the front desk constantly seemed confused. We noticed this as a pattern across the resort, with many people getting up from their seats trying to get someone's attention. We also never got a tour of the property, and our bags weren't in the room as anticipated. For dinner service, we were told we couldn't sit for 30 mins, when in fact our table was empty the entire time. They told us they were "pacing the staff" when in fact half the restaurant was empty. Come check out, we asked for an extended checkout, which they obliged, only to call back 10 mins later to say they couldn't accommodate, then sent someone for our bags, in which we weren't ready to leave yet (it was 9:15am for an 11am checkout). We participated in the picnic, Mercedes experience and bouquet-making class. All enjoyable and easy to join (or not) based on your tastes. Overall, the property again is beautiful, but the faulty service left a poor taste in our mouth.
